what more can i say.
the day i prayed, ‘give him the choice.’
for every man’s destiny is chosen by oneself,
in full light of emotions and trauma,
but in the preceding presence of the conscience.
for the word ‘freedom’ never hit me as hard as that night,
where i realised it was the very path a man chooses,
that leads him astray, into oblivion.
every man sees that other path into joy,
while himself taking the other,
with present-regret, as well as the burden,
of knowing he had a choice.
take heed my fellow blokes,
into this attempt at striking the mind,
that i wish none of you may suffer,
knowing that it is self-prescribed.
